Directions: From Leixlip, head west toward Buckley’s Lane, continue onto Pound Street / Station Road. Turn left onto Old Hill and Celbridge road, when you pass a housing estate called Elton Court on your right-hand side, drive on and you will see a gate leading into The Wonderful Barn.

2. Oughterard Round Tower and Church, Kildare

Directions: From The Wonderful Barn, drive back on onto Celbridge road and turn right toward the roundabout taking the 1st exit onto R404. Slight left onto Newtown road and stay on it until you have to turn left, left again and then right to Oughterard Round Tower.

3. The Rock of Dunamase, Co Laois

This is not on the MyDiscoverIreland.com map as it is further 10KM from the route. However if you wish to drive there, please refresh your driving destinations on the map.

4. Haroldstown Dolmen, Co Carlow ( Alternative – Brownshill Dolomen, Carlow )

Directions: From Oughterard Round Tower and Church;

1. Head Southwest on restricted usage road, Turn Left Toward N7 and go through one roundabout.

2. Turn right to merge onto N7 toward N8/N9/Limerick

3. Continue onto M7 (Signs For Luimneach/Limerick/Corcaigh/Cork/Port Láirge/Waterford/M8/M9)

4.  Slight left onto M9 (Signs For N10/Port Láirge/Waterford/Cill Chainnigh/Kilkenny/Kilcullen)

5. At Junction 4, take the R448 exit to Ceatharlach (Thuaidh)/Carlow (North)/Díseart Diarmada/Castledermot/An Tulach/Tullow

6. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto R448, Go through 1 roundabout

7. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and go through 1 Roundabout

8. Turn right onto Hacketstown Road/R726

9. Turn left onto Link Road and find the Kells Priory.
